Because of his condition, the remaining dates of Aerosmith’s tour have been cancelled.

I’ve been having a bit of writers block, but was looking through some more of my old poetry and found this one, and was wondering what you think of it:
INDEPENDENCE DAY
On this day we celebrate,
The birth of a Nation,
And all things great.
But sometimes I feel we are doing it wrong,
With the tinker tape and parades galore,
I celebrate in silence, in prayer and peace,
My heart cries out for those who seek,
The freedom they fought for back in Nam,
And in other places near and far.
Past and Present, and Future Hold,
The things week sought, and found, and will know,
But the thing I like most, about America and being free,
Is those who lived and died for me.
The POW/MIA, the KIA and those Unknown who lay,
In the site that they will forever be,
Because they died to keep us free.
Independence did not come cheap,
Many died, and many still weep.
Thank you all for all you did and all you do,
You make me proud to wear the Red, White and Blue.
You’re the Heroes of America, a country of refuge.

Al Pacino (as satan) in the movie “the devil’s advocate” states
“who in their rights minds would say the 21st century wasn’t entirely mine? the whole of it!”
I know there are a lot of good things going on in the world (givings, good health, spiritual growth, love, etc) but @ the same time, evil thrives well! (genocide, diseases, immorality [Sodom & Gomorrah resurfacing]etc). I myself continue trying to live according to my religious convictions. The Bible has prophesied that so many bad things that’ll happen before Jesus returns (e.g persecution of christians). Do you think the prophecy is itself already? (Crime and immorality are on the rise worldwide, not to mention tensions between nations) Because rerouting back to Al Pacino’s line from that movie, I can’t help but think to myself that he has a point, however, i still believe satan will be cast into hell along with his goons.
please feel free to share your thoughts (Atheists too are more than welcome)

I have about a 3.15 gpa sadly, but I have a 2050 on my SAT’s, with a 710 Critical Reading, 700 Mathematics, 640 Writing. Also, my highschool is very highly ranked, about 300th in the country I think, and its public.I am in Model United Nations, Mock Trial, A Capella, and Philosophy Club. I took two AP’s Junior year, History and English, and Senior year I have three, with AP Psychology being the third. One reason my gpa is so low is my grades in Spanish class, (C’s and C+’s in regular level class. I also take honors chemistry and math, though I’m probably dropping down to regular level science senior year to lighten the load. I have held a summer job at staples last summer and again this summer, and they love me there. I also had an internship at a large public company last summer. Some of the people I can get recommendations from include: CEO of fortune 100 company, high level execs from the place I interned at. I am a good writer and will have a very good application essay, and I also interview well. I used to play freshman football before an eye surgery left me with double vision which I have had ever since. I am white and my dad makes $280,000 a year, and I live in Massachusetts. Feel free to suggest other good business schools for me if you like, but please answer my original question first, also, I am very interested in Babson and Bentley, so if you know about those too that would be appreciated. Also, I did do some community service. I have worked with habitat for humanity and participated in the walk for hunger, and plan to do more before I apply.

I don’t want to leave them on an island because I think it’s beneficial to have allies in the Middle East. However, it’s put us in a catch-22. Many other nations in the Arab world hate us solely because of our loyalty to Israel. Is there any way we can resolve the conflict between them and Palestine. Couldn’t the neighboring countries in the fertile crescent take in some of the Palestinian refugees? I feel bad for them because they’ve had to remain autonomous like the Kurds. Is there any way we can get them to sign some sort of treaty where they can dissolve the West Bank and allow the Israelites and the Palestinians to live together peacefully like the blacks and whites in America or the Anglophones and Francophones in Canada?

It’s like — it was like Special Olympics, or something.”
“What I’m looking at is not the day-to-day gyrations of the stock market, but the long-term ability for the United States and the entire world economy to regain its footing.”
“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done.”
“We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture (1 Corinthians 13:11), the time has come to set aside childish things.”
“I won. I will trump you on that.” (Obama to GOP)
Note: That sounds childish. I thought the time had come to set aside childish things. Where’s that new tone? Where’s that promise of bipartisanship, Barack?
“In terms of speaking to former presidents, I’ve spoken to all of them that are living. Obviously, President Clinton — I didn’t want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about, you know, doing any seances.”
“I am going to teach [my daughters] first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”
“[J]ust to take a, sort of a realist perspective… there’s a lot of change going on outside of the Court, um, that, that judges essentially have to take judicial notice of. I mean you’ve got World War II, you’ve got uh, uh, uh, the doctrines of Nazism, that, that we are fighting against, that start looking uncomfortably similar to what we have going on, back here at home.”
“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”
“It’s not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance for success too. My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody … I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”
“John McCain and Sarah Palin they call this (spreading the wealth around) socialistic. You know, I don’t know when, when they decided they wanted to make a virtue out of selfishness.”
“Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it.”
“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.”
“We could save all the oil that they’re talking about getting off drilling if everybody was just inflating their tires and getting regular tune-ups. You could save just as much.”
“Will we acknowledge — will we acknowledge that there is no more powerful example than the one each of our nations projects to the world? Will we reject torture and stand for the rule of law?
“The objective of this trip was to have substantive discussions with people like President Karzai or Prime Minister Maliki or President Sarkozy or others who I expect to be dealing with over the next eight to ten years.”
(Note to Obama: A U.S. president can be elected to two 4-year terms.)
“You need to make sure your child can speak Spanish. You should be thinking about how can your child become bilingual. We should have every child speaking more than one language.”
“We know what kind of campaign they’re going to run. They’re going to try to make you afraid. They’re going to try to make you afraid of me. He’s young and inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. And did I mention he’s black? He’s got a feisty wife.”
“I mean, think about it: Iran, Cuba, Venezuela– These countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don’t pose a serious threat to us.”
“Well, I think actually Justice Breyer, Justice Ginsburg are very sensible judges. I think that Justice Souter, who was a Republican appointee is a sensible judge. What you’re looking for is somebody who is going to buy the law where it’s clear.”
“You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
“The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn’t. But she is a typical white person who, if she sees somebody on the street that sh

From the 1948 Israeli War of Independence, “Palestinian Arabs” have been sacrificed as pawns by all other Arab countries as they are to this day. No other Arab country has ever offered to accept any of these people into their own countries even though they are well able to do so. To the Arab countries and the rest of the anti-Semitic world, the “Palestinian Arabs” are useful only as a tool to exterminate Israel and the rest of the Jews in the Middle East. Otherwise, their welfare is of no concern to the rest of the Arab world.
What about the ingrained notion that the Palestinians are fighting for their ancient homeland annexed by the Jews? The truth about this matter has been so deliberately obscured that even to raise the issue seems strange to many people.
In the 1967 war, also known as the Six Day War, did Israel annex territory from a Palestinian nation? No, Israel did not take a single inch of territory from Palestine. That is because there is not, nor has there ever been, a Palestinian nation. Israel captured the West Bank and Eastern Jerusalem from Jordan’s King Hussein and the Gaza Strip from Egypt, after they declared war against the Jewish State. It was only following the Six-day War in 1967 that Arab refugees living in these territories began identifying themselves as the “Palestinian people” because the global media labeled them as such. One cannot help but wonder why these Palestinians suddenly discovered a national identity after Israel won the war, but not during the “Jordanian Occupation” or the “Egyptian Occupation”?

P.S. i never want to be white. no offfense to anyone. but i would rather look like north indians, middle easterns, iranians, pakistanis, if i could choose something else other then what i am. so, caucasian does not mean white.
IS THIS A GOOD ARGUEMENT?????? i found this essay, from another questionhttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;…
Yes Indians from India(or Indian decent), pakistan, and also many bangladeshis are Caucasians. It’s a fact and also its pretty much easy to understand why. Their features are the same as Europeans and most Middle Easterners(those without African ancestry). The only difference would be their skin colour for the most part which is attributed to the climate. It’s no different from southern Europeans who are darker mainly due to their geographic location. Skin colour has a smaller role to play when speaking of race than actual features such as the nose, lips and general facial structure. Eg. Many Chinese are very light skinned but they’re not Caucasian. If you ask why, their facial structure and the eyes to name just two differences.
Indians on the other hand have no real difference when it comes to those features. Africans have very different facial features from Indian, Middle Easterners and Europeans. Africans are a race that is different from Caucasians (Europeans, Indians, and Mid E.). Same goes for Asians. Indians are Asians based on location not by race. Remember that it’s just an imaginary line. Features such as eyes, nose, lips and hair play a very crucial part when defining race. Indians are a sub-race of Caucasian, just like Europeans and Mid. E. Africans and Asians(Mongoloids) do not fall into the same race as the others. Look at their features, it tells alot.
Take into consideration that the blacks that live in countries like the U.S and other former slave nations have European ancestry due to many reasons, one being rape by slave masters. Also know that blacks cannot grow hair like Europeans, Indians and Mid.E. Most black women that you see use hair extensions. Their hair would grow similar to their male counterparts which would resemble a microphone cover for the most part. They spend hours trying to make themselves seem like they have hair(like caucasians), and many wear wigs. Asians also have hair that is different from Indians, Europeans and Mid. E, again reflecting the differences in the actual race.
Also note that many people who live in southern India have ancestry that is similar to the Sri Lankans due to mixing and of course they’ve settled there for centuries. Those would not be considered Caucasians since theyre roots are similar to the Australian aborogines who are closer to Africans. Basically, these southern Indians with such ancestry are like most Sri Lankans. Nothing wrong with them don’t get me wrong, I’m just pointing out the differences…they seem like nice people though.
Remember that all ‘whites/europeans’ are caucasian but not all caucasians are white. ‘White’ is based on skin colour and its not actually a race or specific ethnic background. Europe is comprosed of many different sub races with a wide variety of cultures from Swedish to Spanish to Serbian. These 3 that I mentioned are all considered European but look differently and have different culture but to most people they will be just called ‘white’ which is only based
