Taylor Swift is on the cover of the April issue of Elle, and inside she reveals her thoughts on the hotness of her ex-boyfriend, “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner. But don’t get too excited by the possibility that this interview might lead to a romantic reunion — it appears to have been conducted before Swift and Lautner went their separate ways.

The interview may have taken place in December 2009, when Swift was spotted wearing a hairstyle similar to one she’s sporting in the accompanying photos (bangs and all). In addition to talking about her fears and her lyrical inspirations, she sheepishly shared that her “Valentine’s Day” co-star was on her hot list. “Um, well … Taylor Lautner,” she said in response to a query about who she thought was hot. Taylor Swift has a few more nominations to add to her résumé: The country/pop superstar has been nominated for five Academy of Country Music Awards. According to a press release, the singer was at home near Nashville when she heard the good news.

Swift’s nominations include Entertainer of the Year, Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year for “You Belong With Me,” and Video of the Year for “You Belong With Me.” She is nominated twice in the Song of the Year category for co-writing “You Belong With Me,” bringing her total to five.

Taylor Swift loves her fans, and she always makes sure to give props to those who have helped make her the award-winning superstar she is today. So it seems fitting that when she put together the video for her song “Fearless,” she made sure to give her fans an inside view of what it’s like to go on tour with the pop star.

“You guys, this tour has been the best experience of my entire life,” Swift tells her band before they step onstage. The video features behind-the-scenes footage of Swift and her band as they take her sold-out Fearless tour across the country. Even as fans and detractors continue to debate Taylor Swift’s Grammy performance, the pop sensation should know that she’s always got her friends and her loyal fans on her side.

Selena Gomez, who is pals with the Grammy-winning phenomenon, recently dished to MTV News about the backlash that Swift felt from music fans after her duet with Stevie Nicks. And while the criticism did sting a bit, Gomez explained that Swift can see the good in any situation. “What I admire most about Taylor is that she focuses on all the positive things — and that’s what I love about her,” Gomez said. “She won four Grammys. There might be a Taylor Swift backlash happening online after her performance and wins at the Grammys, but Winter Olympics skier Will Brandenburg is definitely on Team Taylor.

The Spokane, Washington, native, along with fellow skier and gold medalist Ted Ligety, chatted with MTV News on Saturday about competing for the United States and exactly what a “super combine” is.

“I do the super combine [event, which is] one run of downhill, the fastest event in skiing, and one run of the slowest event in skiing, so it’s two different ends of the spectrum,” Bradenburg explained. “[We go] 80, 90, 95 miles per hour. We’re pretty comfortable on our skis. We’ve been doing it since we were little, so when you’re going that fast, you don’t know you’re going that fast. Feels like you’re going 35 miles per hour in your pickup truck. It winds up like, ‘I was just clocked at 83!’ ”  Read more... (429 words, 1 image)
