Da’Sean Butler took an inbounds pass and banked in a 3-pointer from the head of the key at the buzzer to give West Virginia a 54-51 victory over Cincinnati on Thursday night in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament.

UConn coach Jim Calhoun signs extension with Connecticut Huskies
Two-time national championship and Hall of Fame coach Jim Calhoun will return to Connecticut for his 25th season. He agreed to a four-year contract extension with the school on Thursday.
